The SMx Comfort Fit girth is designed with your horse's well-being as a top priority. The girth is lined with genuine lambskin, which is a gentle padding for the horse's skin. Lambskin has several benefits, including efficiently wicking away heat and moisture while increasing comfort for the horse. The buckles are stainless steel and attached to elastic straps. All stitching on the girth is double stitched for extra durability.

The lambskin liner can be easily removed and cleaned - it is attached with strong Velcro to keep it securely in place while riding.

Lambskin girthcare:
Professionel's Choice lambskin girth is a natural material, so to increase its lifespan, you should clean it after every ride. If the lambskin is not cleaned after riding, the acid from the horse's sweat will pierce and loosen the hairs, significantly shortening the life of the girth.

The lambskin girth should not be washed in the washing machine, but should only be hand washed in cool water and a damp cloth. If necessary, you can use a mild soap, but be aware that lambskin takes a long time to dry if it gets soaked.

One solution is to have two of the same webbing so you have something to switch between if you need an extra thorough wash.
